Hey friends! It’s Bark over here on the lookout for my new forever family! My foster momma says I am a 100% handsome, good boy that is pretty “uncomplicated” (whatever that means) which makes me perfect for most dog loving families.

I absolutely love people and while my foster family doesn’t have any young kids for me to play with, I did previously live with a younger kid. However, I am not always aware of my size and like my personal space when eating or chewing on bones so I would do best in a home where my family understands that. I also like other dogs but can be a bit energetic in play, so I am still working on my canine manners. I’m a bit unsure about cats as they seem fun to chase.

My foster momma says that I am house trained because I always let her know when I need to go outside for potty and I sleep really well on a dog bed at night in her room and I don’t need (or like) to be in a kennel. I do love being outside too, so while a fenced-in-yard would be nice, I leash up nicely to do my potty business and stay close to my people when we are outside just chilling.

I just started practicing my leash walking skills for public places, so I’ve been wearing a martingale collar to help me not pull too hard. While I don’t know any fancy obedience stuff yet, I do know basic commands and am smart and eager to please! I also love car rides so I can hang my head out of the window to grab some fresh air and see all the things! I do get the zoomies like a younger pup (we all need a little fun sometimes) and recently learned what fun a squeaky ball is, but I also know how to just chill out with family and chew on my bones too. I’m so excited that my foster momma says she’s ready to help me find my next adventure buddy or family, could that be you?
