Hi there, Diamond Star is the name. I’m as pretty and my personality is shiny just like my name. I have a sweet and loving temperament. I do enjoy being pretty active so I would love a family that will give me lots of exercise and enrichment. However once I’m done playing, I’ll settle down for cuddles and a nap. I love to be around my humans and I’ll follow you around wherever you go. I’ll also give you lots of kisses and cuddles. I get along with my doggy foster sister who is a bigger sized dog like me.

First I’ll brag a little about myself. I’m pretty proud of all the tricks I know (sit, down, paw, come). My foster parents say I’m really smart. I listen very well because I simply want to please my humans. Guess what! I’m potty trained and crate trained. Okay, here’s the things I’m working really hard on: I’m currently working on my manners like leash training, jumping up, and being aware of my body. I’m pretty strong and seem to think I’m a lap dog, so that’s why my foster family thinks I would be most successful in a home with kids older than 8. I just want to give love all of the time and might knock little ones down accidentally. When I’m on my leash and I see a dog or a human, I get really excited and tend to pull. However, my foster parents think that because I’m so smart and treat motivated, with continued training, I’ll get there in no time.

Some of my favorite things include belly rubs, spending time with my humans, and chewy toys. I’d really like to add my new family to my list of favorite things, so will you apply to meet me today?
