Hi! I’m Dixie Rose and I’m having a great time in my foster dad’s house. It’s just the two of us so I get all of his attention. He loves that I am so gentle, sweet and quiet, though I did bark at the deer I saw across the street. I also don’t like squirrels.

I need some coaxing to go into my kennel so my foster is working with me on that. He’s also helping me with sit, come, and stay. I like going for walks and do just fine on a leash.

At night I have been a super girl, sleeping on the floor wherever I want. I am fully housebroken and it’s nice that my foster dad is home a lot which helps.

My energy level is pretty low. No zoomies yet and I’ve not shown much interest in playing with my toys. I get along with other dogs but have not yet met any cats.
