Fable Sue

Hi everyone. My name is Fable Sue and I’m a one year old Pit Bull/Terrier mix. I’m just the sweetest little lady you are ever going to meet. I’m pretty shy but each day I get braver. The first couple of days in my new foster home I ran at every noise but once my foster mom started showing me affection, I was hooked. I love coming over to her when she is sitting down quietly and asking her for ear rubs.

I’m still shy and loud noises scare me but I’m getting adventurous the more comfortable I become. Because I can be unsure, I follow commands pretty well. If my foster mom has to make a correction, I listen immediately and I’m treat motivated, which also helps.

I’m still too shy for walks but I love being in my backyard and just exploring and running around. My foster mom isn’t sure if I’m potty trained. I’ve had no accidents in the house but I also haven’t told her I need to go out. She keeps me on a pretty tight schedule right now. I am crate trained. I actually really love my crate, it’s definitely my safe space. When I’m nervous or scared I prefer to be in my crate. I also love finding dog toys around the house and bringing them all in with me.

I’m dog, cat and kid friendly. I’m currently being fostered with a nine year old and four other four-legged friends, big and small. One of my foster siblings is someone I was rescued with and the two of us love to run and chase each other, so my foster mom knows I have a playful side.
