Hello all! I am Gunner Sam, a 4-year-old Pitty Mix. I have the playful spark of a puppy mixed with the training of an adult. I am food and toy motivated so training is a breeze. I already know how to sit, lay down, stay, go in my kennel, and wait before going through doors. I am potty trained and I do my business immediately when I get outside. When I first go in a kennel, I do vocalize a formal protest, and then typically snooze the day away. If left alone outside of my kennel, I tend to be clumsy and knock things over, but generally I find a toy and a soft spot to nap. I can walk on a leash and I love to play and wiggle around upside down on the grass. I absolutely love people and toys. I am always excited to meet new people and I will play fetch all day long. I have shown off my basic commands skills to the public by taking treats very gently from adults and children alike. Most times when meeting other dogs, I want to play. However, there are times when I react poorly so for safety's sake, I should be the only dog in my home. I have met cats in my current foster home. Many days I walk past them without a care, and some days I focus too much on them. For this reason, my forever home should be feline-free.
