Hi everyone! I’m Mimi, and my foster parents say I’m the sweetest girl with a big heart and a playful spirit. I’m highly motivated by attention and love nothing more than to be around my humans. I’m house trained and will even wait by my foster parents’ door to let them know I need to use the bathroom (which they didn’t even have to teach me)! I know how to sit and am learning my other basic commands. My foster parents are teaching me to walk with a loose leash and I am picking that up quickly, too.

I’m naturally curious, but I respond well to gentle redirection when told “no”. I love playing and snuggling with my foster parents on the couch but I also love to chase balls and overall enjoy being active. If you had a fenced in yard I’m sure I would love to explore it!

I’m still adjusting to crate training—it’s not my favorite place yet, and I can be a bit vocal about it, but I’m making progress and learning to spend time away from my family during the day or night.

I get along really well with other people and am friendly with other dogs. When I’m around a lot of people (like I was for the holidays) I love to say hello and be near them, but a little while later I’ll lay down and relax while keeping an eye out for pets and snacks. If I sound like the perfect match for you, apply to meet me today!
