This very handsome guy is Mufasa Mason. He is the quintessential gentle giant. He is very calm and rarely barks. Mufasa was a stray and so he will need some extra patience in his new home. He is still very unsure of everything and is still learning about life indoors.

Mufasa is slowly learning about treats, but he won’t always take them when offered. He doesn’t often actively seek out attention, but he may approach you occasionally for a reassuring pat. Mufasa hasn’t had any accidents in the house or his crate since being with his foster family. He doesn’t seem interested in toys yet, but his foster family is encouraging play time.

Mufasa very much seems to enjoy being outdoors. He walks very well on a leash and doesn’t pull. A fenced in yard is required for him so he has space to roam. Mufasa doesn’t particularly enjoy his crate, but is getting used to it. He does sleep in it nightly without issue. Sometimes he likes reassurance that you’re nearby before going to sleep. He has been left out of the crate supervised during the day, and normally spends his time looking out the window, or napping behind the couch.
