Orchids is a sweet one-year-old Bulldog looking for a loving, permanent home where she can shower her people with affection. With her beautiful brindle coat and charmingly squishy face, this small, low-to-the-ground girl is the perfect companion for someone seeking a constant snuggler. She absolutely adores attention and will happily melt into you for pets and cuddles the moment you sit down, and will sit peacefully on the couch with you. She currently lives with three other dogs and has been getting along with them great.

Orchids has adjusted to a home routine and shows great manners. She is reliably crate trained, sleeping quietly through the night, which shows her comfort and stability in a quiet space. She is also happy to go into her crate whenever asked, often on command. Her potty training is progressing very nicely; staying on a regular schedule has been key to her success, and she has been accident-free since the schedule was implemented. When it's time to go outside, she enjoys her walks and handles the leash well.

Because Orchids is extremely food-motivated, training has been straightforward and fun! However, her enthusiasm for food means she tends to eat very quickly. For her safety and digestion, we would suggest a slow-feeder bowl to manage her mealtimes. We are actively addressing her habit of jumping up when greeting people, a common behavior when she gets excited. For this reason, we recommend that potential adopters with kids ensure they are dog-savvy while she continues to learn the “no jump” expectation. Orchids has not yet had the opportunity to meet any cats or young children.
