Hi there! My name is Puma Sam, and I’m a young German Shepherd Mix with a heart full of love and a nose that won’t stop! I’m about a year old, and I’ve got all the smarts, energy, and loyalty you’d expect from a shepherd—but what I really want most is a best friend to share all of life’s adventures with.

I love to run, play fetch (more like chase the ball), and explore the world around me. I’m super curious and am learning new things everyday (especially if treats are involved). I already know a few basic commands and can’t wait to learn more with you!

I get along great with people and other dogs. I do okay with mellow cats, but the higher energy ones get me excited, and I want to play. Unfortunately, I don’t realize I am a 70-pound puppy so this wouldn’t be ideal for me. I would do my best in a home where I can be part of the action, whether that’s hiking, playing in the yard, or just going for walks.

I am still learning some basic manners as I do like to jump up when I say hi. I just get so excited! I’m also working on my leash walking. I am great in my crate though. I sleep through the night without a peep and I’m house trained.
