I heard you’re looking for your new best friend...well here I am! My name is Sanzi Mae and I’m a sweet girl who’s so excited for my forever home.

My foster parents have gotten to know me pretty well, and even though it’s only been a short time, they say my report card scores high! I’ve nearly mastered potty training and I alert my parents when I need to go potty by standing by the door. I’m crate trained and do very well when you need to go somewhere without me for a few hours. I also do great in the car, so I could be the perfect co-pilot for your errands! I know my basic commands like sit, come, and stop. I want to learn more than anything and I want to make my people happy–that’s what makes me happiest! I think I would do best in a calm, consistent environment, because that’s where I feel safest.

Some things I love include big naps (the kind that make me snore really loud), chewing on bones, playing with toys, and exploring the new world around me! I’m also loving going on walks–who knew so many smells existed? I promise if you give me the time to open up and feel comfortable, I will learn to trust you fast.

During my big naps I dream of my future life. I think it’s full of snuggles, love, and as many treats as you want to give me! I feed off of the energy around me, and I love being included in everything possible. I would love to be part of all of your adventures. I promise I’ll love you with my whole heart if you give me the chance.
