Hi there! Tyson Wells here and you may remember me from my Facebook live a few weeks ago! I’m a special little guy with a wonky back end, but I promise it doesn’t get me down! I have a huge zest for life and I have lots of it left to enjoy!

My foster mom calls me a circus dog because sometimes I walk on just my front two legs, but I also walk on three legs, and even all four at times. The doctor says that I have severe hip dysplasia and both of my knees are bad due to my genetics. However, due to their position and my inability to bear weight consistently on one of my back legs, surgical repair is not an option. So my treatment is just low dose pain medication and joint support vitamins to help keep me comfortable.

Despite this, I am such a happy little guy! I love to play with toys, chew on bones, and I’m the absolute BEST cuddler around. I’m currently living with five other dogs of all sizes and I get along great with all of them. I also have no issues keeping up with them when running around outside or in the house. I even know how to do stairs! I am also crate trained and doing well with potty training on a schedule.
