My name is Yukon and I am the perfect example of a gentle giant! It takes me a bit to warm up to new faces but once I do, I will never leave your side! I’ve had a rough start to my life so I can be very timid around new sounds and fast movements, so a laid back home would suit me best. This is also why my forever home needs to have a fenced-in-yard.

I am very well behaved and will bark to let you know if I think something isn’t right. I do not mind other dogs or cats as long as they are as laid back as I am and I do very well with older children. I walk very well on a leash and resting next to my foster family is my absolute favorite hobby at the end of the day. I have been doing great with my crate training and do not mind being in it to sleep or while my foster family is away. I have been working very hard to become house trained and only have accidents if I don’t get to go outside on a regular basis.
