Hi, I'm Candace Flynn from the Phineas and Ferb group of Beagles, and I'm discovering that life is full of wonderful firsts!
As one of the Ridglan Farms beagles, my world used to be very small. Now, every day feels like a brand new adventure! Running through a yard, playing with toys, curling up on a cozy blanket, and having a safe kennel of my own are all things I'm experiencing for the very first time and I absolutely love it.

A few of my favorite things are treats (Pup-Peroni is my favorite) and chasing toys that are thrown for me, though I’m still learning to bring the toys back. Right now, I live with five other dogs and am happily learning the routine of family life. I get along well with my canine friends.

I have the sweet, gentle beagle personality everyone loves, but because everything is still so new, I can be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. The good news is that every single day my confidence grows a little more. I have been to a few adoption events and it turns out I am quite social when I am on a leash. I’ve gotten pets from everyone and loved it! With patience, kindness, and a little encouragement, I'm blossoming into a wonderful companion.

I have come a long way on house training and only have an accident every few days now. I am still working on basic commands but I have “sit” mastered. I sleep quietly in my crate at night. I also walk well on a leash and don’t pull at all.
