Hey everybody, I’m Luke Duke. I’m learning the ropes of living in a safe place so I’m looking for a family that will be patient with me. I did want to let you know I’m nailing the whole house training thing and haven’t had any accidents since the first day!

I’m hesitant with new people but I’m still a very affectionate boy and will take all the pets and cuddles I can get. I do this funny thing where I keep getting closer and closer to the new person until they can pet me. Once I know you’re safe I have no problems asking you for some attention.

I love playing with my foster brother and would do great in a home with another dog. My confidence is definitely higher when another dog is around. I haven’t met a cat yet so I’m not sure what I think of them.

I don’t love being in my kennel but I’m a curious boy and will look for things other than my toys to chew on when unattended. When I’m in my kennel I will bark before I settle down. Because of my barking I shouldn’t live in an apartment where I could bother your neighbors.

Some of my other favorite things are taking all the toys out of the toy box, taking treats like a gentleman and sniffing around the yard!
